When overhauling master cylinder refer to Figs. through . Note the position of all parts as they are removed for proper installation.
- On models with attached reservoirs, remove reservoir installation screw, reservoir cap, brake fluid sensor, float, then reservoir, Figs. and .
- On models with separately mounted reservoirs, remove nipple, Figs. and .
- Use a wooden stick or dowel to depress primary piston into cylinder bore.
