- Remove heater hoses from connections at firewall and plug connections.
- On air conditioned models, remove holding clamps from evaporator hoses. Do not discharge the air conditioning system, simply loosen the retaining clamps to allow removal of the firewall door.
- On all models, remove instrument cluster.
- Disconnect air ducts and vacuum hoses.
- Remove unit mounting bolts.
