Import Compressor Service -> Keihin Compressors -> SHAFT SEAL, REPLACE -> INSTALLATION -> REMOVAL

Ensure suction and discharge joints are securely capped.
- Remove pressure plate, then the 32 mm snap ring, Fig. .
- Remove woodruff key from keyway, then the shims from shaft.
- Remove seal seat from pulley assembly as shown, Fig. .
- Insert shaft seal remover tool, Fig. , then rotate tool to ensure cutout is engaged with metal pawl.
- Press remover tool until it bottoms, then rotate tool fully counterclockwise and withdraw.
