- Remove cruise control actuator assembly, then disconnect relay electrical connector.
- Remove relay mounting nut, then the relay.
- Reverse procedure to install. Torque relay mounting nut to 70-95 inch lbs. and cruise control actuator mounting nuts to 26-34 inch lbs.

- Remove master cylinder as described in "Hydraulic Brake Systems" .
- Remove clutch pipe holder, if equipped, then disconnect vacuum hose from power brake unit.
- Disconnect pushrod fork from brake pedal and remove power brake unit from vehicle.
- Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
- On all models except Navajo & 1994-95 Pickups, torque booster bolts to 14-17 ft. lbs.

- Ensure parking brake is completely released.
- Block front wheels, then raise and support rear of vehicle.
- Adjust parking brake lever screw or nut until wheels are locked when the brake lever is pulled 5-7 notches.

- Adjust parking brake shoe clearance as follows:
- Working through rotor access hole, turn adjuster 3 to 5 notches in direction opposite arrow on rotor to set shoe clearance to approximately .013 inch.
- Rotate rotor by hand to ensure parking brake shoes do not drag, then install access hole plug.
- Settle parking brake shoes as follows:
