On models with 3.1L/V6-191 engines it is necessary to remove the serpentine belt and alternator to prior to performing the following procedure.
- Disconnect battery ground cable.
- Disconnect blower motor and blower motor resistor electrical connections.
- Remove plastic water shield from right side of cowl.
- Remove blower motor attaching screws, then blower motor.
- Remove blower motor cage attaching nut, then blower cage.
- Reverse procedure to install.
