The electric cooling fan is control by the PCM based on inputs from the engine coolant sensor, intake air temperature sensor , the A/C control switch, A/C refrigerant pressure sensor and the speed sensor. The fan normally operates when the engine coolant temperature exceeds 217°F, A/C is requested, and vehicle speed is greater than 35 mph.
