Heater Functional Test
Before starting the functional test, the vehicle should be idling with coolant hot and thermostat open. Coolant temperature should be approximately 194°F.
- Cycle the temperature lever to the extreme ends of travel in control assembly to ensure cable is properly adjusted.
- Set mode lever to Vent position.
- Air equal in temperature to outside air should be discharged from the instrument panel outlets.
