- If distance is not 5.79-6.18 inches, adjust pedal height as follows:
- Remove left lower instrument panel trim section and air duct.

Caliper Removal
- Remove 2/3 of total brake fluid capacity from master cylinder reservoir.
- Raise and support vehicle, then remove tire and wheel assembly.
- Install two wheel retaining nuts to retain rotor in position.
- If caliper requires overhaul, remove inlet fitting attaching bolt, then disconnect inlet fitting from caliper housing. Discard both gaskets, then plug openings in inlet fitting and caliper to prevent loss or contamination of fluid. Do not crimp brake hose, as this may damage internal structure of hose.

- The control module must be disconnected before performing any electric welding.
- Use caution not to subject control module to a maximum heat of 185°F for longer than 2 hours.
