- Open vent plugs located on the thermostat housing and on throttle body return pipe above water pump.
- Turn both plugs two to three turns.
- Fill cooling system to the base of radiator neck, then closed both vent plugs. Do not over tighten plugs.
- Install radiator cap, then add sufficient coolant to recovery tank.
- Start engine and observe low coolant warning lamp.
- If lamp remains on, repeat bleed procedure.
