- Disconnect battery ground cable.
- Remove left side air cleaner element.
- Cut nylon ties securing fan motor wiring harness to main harness, then disconnect leads from fan motor.
- Disconnect motor ground wire from stud.
- Cut nylon tie securing fan motor harness to mounting frame.
- Remove fan motor mounting frame to fan cowl mounting bolts.
- Remove motor and frame from vehicle, then separate motor and frame assembly.
- Remove fan blade.
- Reverse procedure to install.
