- Recover refrigerant from A/C system, then remove right instrument panel underside cover.
- Open expansion valve housing halfway. Disconnect hoses and pipes at injection valve. Remove expansion valve and close connections with plugs.
- Reverse procedure to install. Coat O-rings with clean refrigerant oil prior to installation.
- Torque refrigerant lines as follows:
- Pressure hose to expansion valve, 11-13 ft. lbs.
- Suction hose to expansion valve, 21-27 ft. lbs.
- Evaporator pipe lines, 17-20 ft. lbs.
