- Disconnect brake fluid sensor electrical connector from master cylinder reservoir.
- Position a drain pan under master cylinder.
- On models with separately mounted reservoir, disconnect reservoir hoses from the master cylinder.
- On all models, disconnect brake lines from the master cylinder. Plug all lines and fittings.
- Remove master cylinder to brake booster attaching nuts.
- Pull master cylinder outward and away from brake booster.
- Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:

Fuel System Pressure Relief
- Disconnect the fuel pump electrical connector at rear of the fuel tank.
- Start the engine and allow to idle.
- After the engine has stopped, turn the ignition switch to Off position, then disconnect the battery ground cable.
- After the fuel system repairs are complete, reconnect the fuel pump connector.

- Raise and support vehicle, then remove wheel.
- Remove caliper assembly without disconnecting brake hose. Support caliper out of way. Do not strain brake hose.
- Remove freewheeling hub cover assembly and remove snap ring from driveshaft.
- Remove knuckle and front hub assembly.
- Pull left driveshaft out of differential carrier assembly without damaging oil seal.
- Using suitable jack, raise the lower arm.
