- Recover refrigerant as outline under .
- Remove righthand instrument panel underside cover.
- Open expansion valve housing halfway and disconnect hoses and pipes at injection valve.
- Remove expansion valve and plug connections.
- Reverse procedure to install, noting following:
- Coat O-rings with clean refrigerant oil prior to installation.
- Torque pressure hose to expansion valve line to 11-13 ft. lbs.
- Torque suction hose to expansion valve line to 21-27 ft. lbs.
