Refer to Fig. for A/C condenser cooling fan terminal identification.
- Turn ignition Off, then disconnect A/C condenser cooling fan connector.
- Apply 12 volts to terminal three on fan, then ground terminal two. A/C condenser cooling fan should operate at low speed.
- Apply 12 volts to terminal one on fan, then ground terminal two. Fan should operate at high speed.
- If fan operates properly at both speeds, return to diagnostic tests. If fan does not operate properly, replace fan.

- Recover refrigerant as outlined under .
- Disconnect and cap compressor discharge line and liquid line from condenser using the spring lock coupling tool, Fig. .
- Remove top left and right side radiator bolts, then loosen bottom bolts.
- Carefully push top part of radiator rearward.
- Remove two bolts retaining top of condenser core to radiator upper support, then remove from vehicle.
- Reverse procedure to install. Use new O-rings lubricated with refrigerant oil.
