Traction Control System (TCS) prevents wheel spin when the vehicle is accelerating on a slippery surface.

The TCS system for manual transaxles consists of two subsystems, Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) and Electronic Throttle System (ETS).

Radio and cassette player are equipped with an electronic four-digit anti-theft lock. This four-digit code is programmed at manufacturing and cannot be changed.   • The diagnostic socket (green) is located below the righthand front seat.
  • During fault diagnosis, the ignition switch must always be in the On position.
  • The ISAT system number for the TC/ABS system is number 3.
  • Always read off and note down all stored diagnostic trouble codes before disconnecting the battery or ECU.
  • If communication cannot be established between ISAT and the ECU, check the leads between ECU pins 23 and 42 and the diagnostic socket. Also ensure the power feed and ground circuits to the diagnostic socket are good and the connector pins are not damaged.
