- Disconnect battery ground cable.
- Raise and support vehicle and support it with safety stands in proper locations.
- Remove wheel nuts and front wheels.
- Unstake hub nut using suitable tool.
- Remove driveshaft locknut from front hub while depressing brake pedal. Remove wheel before loosening axle nut.
- Remove stabilizer link from front arm.
- Disconnect transverse link from housing.
- Remove spring pin which secures transmission spindle and install new spring upon installation.
- Remove front driveshaft assembly. If driveshaft is hard to remove use suitable puller to aid in removal.
