STARTER & ALTERNATOR REPLACEMENT PROCEDURES FOR 1999 Acura RL AUTOMOBILES

Vehicle: 1999 Acura RL 3.5 V6 GAS
- Disconnect battery ground cable.
- Raise coolant reservoir, then remove battery and base.
- Remove mounting bolt, lockbolt, adjusting rod and alternator belt.
- Remove mounting bolts and alternator bracket.
- Disconnect alternator electrical connector and clip bracket.
- Remove mounting nut and disconnect alternator B+ terminal black wire.
- Remove alternator.
- Remove mounting bolts and lefthand exhaust manifold cover.
- Remove brake hose clamps for lefthand strut fork.
- Remove mounting bolts, nuts and lefthand strut fork.
