- Remove air inlet resonator, then drain coolant into a suitable container.
- Remove upper radiator crossover.
- Remove hose clamps and hoses from radiator.
- Disconnect engine block heater electrical wire, if equipped.
- Disconnect and plug automatic transaxle hoses at cooler.
- Disconnect fan electrical connector.
- Remove A/C condenser attaching screws located at front of radiator, if equipped.
- Remove radiator from engine compartment by lifting upward.
- Reverse procedure to install.

- Raise vehicle on jack stands or centered on a frame contact type hoist.
- Remove front wheel and tire assembly from vehicle.
- Remove front caliper assembly from front steering knuckle assembly.
- Remove front braking disk (rotor) from hub, by pulling it straight off wheel mounting studs.
- Remove speed sensor cable routing bracket from strut assembly.
- Remove hub and bearing to stub axle retaining nut.
- Install a suitable puller or special tool 6790 or equivalent, on hub and bearing assembly, using wheel lug nuts to secure it in place.

- Place the ignition switch in the On position, then set mini trip computer to Compass/Temp mode, Fig. .
- Press and hold the RESET button until CAL is displayed.
- Drive the vehicle in one complete circle at a speed of 3-5 mph. This should be done on a level surface free of large metal objects such as other vehicles, bridges, buildings, railroads and underground cables.
- When the CAL indicator turns Off, the compass has been calibrated and should now display proper headings.
