Do not attempt to remove the fixed orifice tube with orifice removal tool, it is an integral part of the liquid line. When a new fixed orifice tube is required, the line must be cut and a new fixed orifice kit installed.
- Recover refrigerant as outlined under .
- Remove condenser to evaporator tube.
- Locate evaporator core orifice.
- Cut a 2.5 inch section from condenser to evaporator tube to remove evaporator core orifice.
