The TPMS warns the driver when a significant loss, or gain of tire pressure occurs in any of the four tires and allows the driver to display the individual tire pressures and the locations on the DIC (Driver Information Center) display. The system uses the PCM (Powertrain Control Module), BCM (Body Control Module), DIC, IPC (Instrument Panel Cluster), remote control door lock receiver, a radio frequency transmitting pressure sensor in each wheel assembly and the serial data circuit.
