  • To maintain driveline balance, index-mark driveshaft flange yoke and pinion flange.
  • Index-mark driveshaft yoke and transmission tailshaft. Do not allow output shaft to turn.
  • Remove four bolts.
  • Disconnect driveshaft flange yoke from pinion flange, using a suitable tool as shown. Driveshaft flange yoke fits tightly on pinion flange pilot. Never hammer on driveshaft or any of its components to disconnect yoke from flange. Pry only in area shown, with a suitable tool, to disconnect yoke from flange.
