- Disconnect Powertrain Control Module (PCM) electrical connectors.
- Lower vehicle.
- Remove mounting screws and lower trim panel.
- Disconnect door weather strip and scuff panel trim.
- Remove cowl side trim panel.
- Remove mounting nuts, bracket and PCM. Disconnect electrical connector.

On models with 3.0L engine, cooling fan speed is determined by cylinder head temperature, air conditioning pressure and transmission oil temperature. On models with 4.0L engine, cooling fan speed is determined by engine coolant temperature, air conditioning pressure and transmission oil temperature.
