System Operation
The Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) minimizes wheel lock-up during heavy braking. The ABS monitors each wheel's speed and controls brake fluid pressure to each wheel independently, Figs. through . - Insert a drift or punch into brake rotor cooling fins and against brake caliper to prevent wheel hub and bearing from turning.
- Remove spindle nut retaining rear wheel drive shaft to hub.
