- Remove fan as outlined under "Water Pump."
- Disconnect upper and lower transmission fluid cooler fittings using suitable back-up wrench.
- Disconnect lower radiator hose.
- Disconnect clamp and degas hose.
- Remove radiator mounting bolts, upper support brackets, jack handle and wheel nut wrench.
- Remove radiator.
- Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
- Torque bracket mounting bolts to 22 ft. lbs.
- Torque transmission cooler fittings to 21 ft. lbs.

- Turn vents inward, then remove center instrument panel finish panel by grasping and pulling outward.
- On models equipped with four-wheel-drive, disconnect 4WD control switch.
- On all models, remove mounting screws and disconnect module electrical connectors.
- Remove mounting nuts and disconnect module vacuum harness connector.
- Remove climate control panel.
- Reverse procedure to install.

- Recover refrigerant as outlined under .
- Remove radiator as outlined under "Radiator.".
- Remove mounting nuts, then disconnect condenser core inlet and outlet lines. Cap or plug lines and openings.
- Remove mounting bolts and brackets, then the condenser core. Cap or plug lines and openings.
- Reverse procedure to install, nothing the following:
- Install new O-rings coated with suitable refrigerant oil.
- Torque bracket mounting bolts to 66-92 inch lbs.
- Torque line mounting nuts to 61-82 inch lbs...
