- Disconnect clips and remove air cleaner element.
- Disconnect connector and loosen clamp, then remove air cleaner cover and Mass Air Flow (MAF)/Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor.
- Remove mounting bolts, then the upper and lower fan shroud.
- Disconnect clamps, then remove radiator inlet and outlet hoses from radiator.
- Pull transmission oil cooler line plastic cap back from quick connect fitting and down along cooler line approximately two inches.

- Disconnect clamp and remove coolant recovery hose clamp from coolant recovery reservoir.
- Remove push pin retainers and disconnect windshield washer pump electrical connectors.
- Remove windshield washer hoses, then the coolant recovery reservoir and windshield washer assembly.
- Disconnect blower motor electrical connector.
- Remove two acoustic cover mounting screws in blower motor area.
- Cut acoustic cover between five clip lands, Fig. . Retain acoustic cover piece for installation.
