- Raise and support vehicle, then remove master cylinder cap.
- Disconnect wheel speed sensor connector.
- Remove lower caliper mounting pin/bolt.
- Pivot caliper upward to remove caliper and retainers from torque member, Figs. through .
- Remove inner and outer pads and shims.
- Compress caliper piston using suitable C-clamp.
- Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
- Apply Poly Butyl Cuprysil (PBC) to surface between shim pad and shim.
- Ensure inner and outer pad return lever, Fig. , is secured on upper side of pad retainer.

The Low Tire Pressure Warning lamp will illuminate for approximately one second as a bulb check when the ignition switch is placed in the on position. This system uses radio frequency pressure sensors which monitor pressure in all 4 tires. When operating the vehicle at a speed above 20 mph the Low Tire Pressure Warning Lamp will illuminate when low tire pressure has been detected. Adjusting tires to correct pressure will turn lamp off.
