Replacement
- Remove caliper from brake rotor and brake pads from caliper as outlined under .
- Disconnect brake hose at brake caliper. Cap brake line.
- Reverse procedure to install.

- With brake hose attached to caliper, carefully depress brake pedal to push piston out of caliper bore.

Pressure Bleed
Use bleeder tank tool No. C-3496-B, or equivalent, and adapter tool No. BB400-9A, or equivalent, to pressurize hydraulic system.
Normal pressure bleeder pressure should not be more than 35 psi. On models equipped with plastic reservoirs, do not exceed 25 psi bleeding pressure.
- Attach suitable clear plastic hose to bleeder screw and submerge other end into clear container with clean brake fluid.
- Open bleeder screw at least one full turn.
- Bleed 4-8 ounces of fluid through system until air free flow is maintained.
- Repeat procedure at all screws.
