- Remove bolts mounting starter to transmission.
- Remove battery feed wire from starter.
- Remove starter solenoid assembly from transmission housing, then position starter to access Connector Positive Assurance (CPA) wiring connector.
- Slightly lift engine to relieve lefthand engine mount pressure using suitable jack stand beneath engine.
