- Disconnect electrical connectors and vacuum tubes, then remove mounting screws and air cleaner.
- Remove upper radiator hose.
- From under vehicle have assistant hold fan pulley using fan pulley holding wrench tool No. 303-239, or equivalent at 7 o'clock position.
- Loosen fan clutch from engine compartment using fan clutch hub nut wrench tool No. 303-454, or equivalent at 12 o'clock position. Clutch assembly nut has righthand threads.
