- Remove mounting bolts and cowl grille.
- Remove filter.
- Reverse procedure to install.

- Release filter cover retaining clips, Fig. , then push retaining clips inward and swing filter cover down to remove.

- Open engine air bleed located on engine crossover pipe.
- Open heater air bleed located on expansion tank.
- Fill expansion tank until coolant flows from engine air bleed screw and tank is full.
- Close engine air bleed screw.
- Install expansion tank cap.
- Leave heater air bleed open.
- Start engine and set heater to 90°F.
- Closed heater air bleed when a steady stream of coolant flows during engine idle.
