- Recover refrigerant as outlined under .
- Remove wiper system.
- Remove mounting nut and pressure lines. Plug or cap lines and openings.
- Remove mounting bolt and expansion valve.
- Replace receiver as outlined under "Receiver, Replace."
- Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
- Install new O-rings lubricated with suitable compressor oil.
- Torque mounting bolts and nuts to 88 inch lbs.

- Unhook suspension rubbers of exhaust system. Support exhaust system at rear muffler.
- Detach exhaust shield from tunnel.
- Detach rear transverse bridge.
- Detach reinforcement brace.
- Loosen clamping nut of propeller shaft. Loosen clamping nut approx. one turn, do not slide back rubber boot (the rubber boot slides with it).
