- Wait until the engine has cooled down before installing the new timing belt.
- Disconnect coolant reservoir hose from coolant outlet.
- On Sienna models, proceed as follows:
- Remove wiper arm head caps.
- Remove wiper arm retaining nuts, then the arm and blade assemblies.
- Remove head to cowl top seal.
- Remove cowl panel hole cover.
- Remove clip, then disconnect washer hose.
- Remove cowl top ventilation louvers.
- Disconnect wiper motor electrical connector.

- Place driveshaft on suitable workbench. Do not damage driveshaft when servicing on workbench. Ensure driveline and components are reference marked to prevent driveline imbalance.
