- Disconnect negative cable from battery.
- Drain cooling system into a suitable container.
- Remove radiator upper hose from radiator.
- Disconnect radiator fan motor electrical connector.
- Remove radiator fan assembly. When transaxle cooler lines are removed from rolled-groove type fittings at cooler and transaxle, damage to inner wall of hose will occur. To prevent potential leakage, cooler hoses and clamps must be replaced.
