The Message Center will perform a system inspection of monitored systems and will indicate either system is OK or a warning message. To perform the System Check proceed as follows:
- Place the ignition switch in the On position.
- Press Message Center Set Up button.
- From Set Up Menu select System Check.
- Press the RESET button to start system inspection.
- The Message Center will cycle through the monitored systems and display an OK or Warning Message for 4 seconds.

If the lamp remains On or starts to blink, a diagnostic trouble code is stored in the PCM.
