Brake Linings
Remove both front wheels and inspect the brake discs, calipers and linings. (Wheel bearings should be inspected at this time and repacked if required).
Do not get any oil or grease on the linings. It is recommended that both front wheel sets be replaced whenever a respective shoe and lining is worn or damaged. Inspect and, if required, replace rear brake linings also.
If the caliper is cracked or fluid leakage through the casting is evident, it must be replaced as a unit.

The fuel system remains under high pressure even when the engine is not running. This residual pressure must be relieved before servicing the fuel system. To avoid injury or fire, release pressure from the fuel system before disconnecting any fuel line.

DRIVESHAFT, Replace -> Front -> One Piece Driveshaft -> Rear -> Three Piece Driveshaft -> Two Piece Driveshaft

Front
- Raise and support the vehicle.
- Index-mark front driveshaft to front axle flange and at transfer case flange.
- Remove and discard bolts and U-joint retainers.
- Remove and discard four flange bolts.
- Compress and separate front driveshaft from front axle, then separate driveshaft from transfer case. Wrap electrical tape around the bearing cups to prevent them from falling off the U-joint spider.
- Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
- Torque flange bolts to 82 ft. lbs.
- Torque U-joint retainer bolts to 26 ft. lbs.

Tire pressure monitoring system is not affected by wheel and tire rotation. Tire pressure sensor training procedure must be done on a single vehicle, in an area without radio frequency noise. Radio frequency noise is generated by electrical motor and appliance operation, cellular telephones and remote transmitters, power inverters and portable entertainment equipment.

The Tire Pressure Monitoring System will warn the vehicle operator of a severe low or high tire pressure condition. This system uses radio frequency pressure sensors which monitor pressure in all tires including the spare.
