- Remove the floor protector, then disconnect the fuel pump electrical connector.

Do not strike ABS rotors or outer race of driveshaft against other parts when removing or installing driveshaft. Use care not to strike pole piece at tip of front wheel speed sensor with tools when servicing vehicle.
- Raise and support vehicle and support it with safety stands in proper locations.
- Remove wheel nuts and front wheels.
- Remove wheel hub cotter pin, nut, and washer. Do not apply pressure to wheel bearing from vehicle weight to avoid possible damage when driveshaft nut is loosened.
