If the master cylinder or BPMV was replaced, refer to "Auto Bleed" for bleed procedure.
- Ensure level of brake fluid in reservoir is at least 1/2 full during bleeding operation.
- Install brake bleeder adapter tool No. J39801, or equivalent, to master cylinder reservoir.
- Charge pressure bleeder with 20-25 psi of compressed air.
- Connect pressure bleeder to brake bleeder adapter.
- Raise and support vehicle.
- Attach a transparent hose over valve, then submerge other end of hose in a transparent container filled with brake fluid.

- Siphon 2/3 of brake fluid from master cylinder.
- Raise and support vehicle, then remove tire and wheel assemblies.
- Install two wheel lug nuts to retain rotor and remove caliper mounting bolts.
- Remove union nut securing brake hose to caliper and drain fluid into suitable container. Do not disconnect brake hose.
