Removal
  • Loosen the lug nuts.
  • Raise and support vehicle with jack stands, then remove the wheel and tire assembly.
  • Deflate the tire completely.
  • Remove tire pressure sensor mounting nut and allowing sensor to drop into wheel.
  • Use a suitable tire changer to remove the tire from the wheel.
Installation
  • Check tire pressure sensor function using tire pressure tool No. 09945-86510, or equivalent. Flashing LED and beeping sound on tool indicates an activation of the tire pressure sensor.
  • Replace tire pressure sensor seal.
