- Release parking brake lever, then raise and support vehicle.
- Remove rear wheels, then install lug nuts on two opposite wheel studs to hold brake rotor in position.
- Back caliper pistons into bores.
- Loosen parking brake cable adjusting nut until there is no tension on parking brake shoes.
- Turn each brake rotor until parking brake shoe star adjuster is visible through hole in rotor.
- Adjusting one side at a time, tighten adjuster until rotor cannot be turned by hand, then back star wheel off 5-7 notches. ...
