The TPMS warns the driver when a significant loss, or gain of tire pressure occurs in any of the four tires and allows the driver to display the individual tire pressures and the locations on the DIC (Driver Information Center) display. The system uses the BCM (Body Control Module), DIC, remote control door lock receiver, a radio frequency transmitting pressure sensor in each wheel assembly and the serial data circuit.

If using the pressure increase decrease method, the procedure must be completed within 15 minutes from when the vehicle was driven at a speed of 20 mph or greater for 10 seconds.
