- Loosen left-hand strut and spring assembly top mount nuts by four turns.
- Loosen wheel nuts.
- Loosen wheel hub retaining nut.
- Raise and support vehicle.
- Remove left-hand wheel.
- . Detach left-hand lower arm.
- Remove pinch bolt from ball joint stud. Protect ball joint seat using a soft cloth to prevent damage.
- Detach lower arm ball joint.

This lamp should light when the ignition is turned On. After engine starts, the lamp should go off, unless a fault condition is detected by the EEC-V system. If the lamp remains On or starts to blink, a diagnostic trouble code is stored in the PCM.
