- Raise and support vehicle.
- Remove wheel and tire assembly.
- On models equipped with standard disc brakes,proceed as follows:
- Insert a punch or drift into cooling fins of brake rotor.
- Position punch or drift against brake caliper mounting bracket.
- Using a breaker bar and appropriate size socket, loosen wheel drive shaft nut.
- On models equipped with Brembo disc brakes,proceed as follows:
- Have an assistant apply the brakes.

- Reposition air cleaner assembly in order to access positive crankcase ventilation hose and throttle body duct.
- Reposition PCV hose clamp and remove PCV hose from air cleaner assembly.
- Loosen air cleaner outlet duct clamp at throttle body.
