STARTER & ALTERNATOR REPLACEMENT PROCEDURES FOR 2007 Infiniti M45 AUTOMOBILES
Includes starter and alternator replacement procedures for domestic and imported 2007 Infiniti M45 cars and light trucks from 1990+.
Alternator, Replace
Vehicle: 2007 Infiniti M45 4.5 V8 GAS
- Disconnect battery ground cable.
- On models equipped with AWD, remove power steering oil reservoir tank from bracket.
- Remove wiring harness clip for power steering oil pressure sensor.
- On all models, raise vehicle on lift.
- Remove bolts for engine front undercover then remove undercover.
- Remove alternator and power steering oil pump belts by loosening idler pulley lock nut. Upon installation adjust belt tension by turning adjusting bolt. Inspect belt tension using a suitable belt tension gauge. Used belt tension 18 lbs., and new belt tension 15 lbs.
