STARTER & ALTERNATOR REPLACEMENT PROCEDURES FOR 2007 Mitsubishi Lancer AUTOMOBILES

Vehicle: 2007 Mitsubishi Lancer ES 2.0 L4 GAS
- Disconnect battery ground cable.
- Loosen nut from alternator lower alternator mounting bolt.
- Loosen upper alternator lock bolt.
- Remove power steering pump hose clamp mounting bolts.
- Remove bolts securing engine mounting insulator.
- Tilt engine forward with a suitable tool.
- Remove bolts securing alternator adjusting brace then remove brace.
- Remove terminal nut and alternator electrical connector from back of alternator.
- On models equipped with ABS, remove jam nuts from engine mounting insulator.
