- Raise and support vehicle, then remove lefthand tire and wheel assembly.
- Remove mounting nut and separate outer tie rod from steering knuckles using steering linkage and tie rod puller tool No. J24319-B, or equivalent. Do not loosen tie rod end jam nut.
- Lock wheel hub and bearing from turning by installing suitable drift or punch into brake rotor against caliper mounting bracket.
- Remove and discard wheel drive shaft spindle nut.
- Disconnect wheel speed sensor connector and position wiring harness aside.

- Loosen the lug nuts.
- Raise and support vehicle with jack stands, then remove the wheel and tire assembly.

- Remove retaining clip and PCV dirty air tube.
- Remove PCV fresh air tube.
- Remove sight shield bracket nuts and bracket.
- Disconnect fuel injector electrical connectors from fuel injectors.
- Disconnect evaporative emission purge valve line and electrical connector.
