Vehicle: 2008 Chevrolet Cobalt SS 2.0 L4 GAS

  • Drain cooling system.
  • Remove air cleaner outlet resonator.
  • Loosen radiator inlet hose clamp at radiator, then remove hose.
  • Loosen radiator outlet hose clamp at radiator, then remove hose.
  • On models equipped with VTi or automatic transaxle, proceed as follows:
    • Clean upper transmission oil cooler line connection point and remove line from radiator.
    • Remove left front wheelhouse liner.
    • Remove left engine splash shield.
  • On all models, remove cooling fan assembly from radiator by pushing up on fan shroud to unsnap retainers.
  • Position cooling fan assembly away from radiator and support.
