- Raise and support vehicle and support it with safety stands in proper locations.
- Remove wheel nuts and front tire. Before removing front axle assembly disconnect ABS wheel sensor from assembly. Move sensor away from front axle area. Failure to follow this instruction may result in damage to sensor wires.
- Remove wheel sensor from steering knuckle.
- Remove transverse link ball joint nut and bolt, then remove transverse link from steering knuckle.

- Deflate tire, then remove retaining nut an allow transmitter to fall into tire.
- Gently bounce tire so transmitter falls to bottom of tire.
- Place tire on suitable tire changing machine and break both tire beads. Ensure transmitter remains at bottom of tire.
- Turn tire so valve hole is at bottom, then bounce tire so transmitter is near valve hole.
- Lift tire onto turntable and position valve hole 270° from mounting/dismounting head, Fig. .
- Lubricate tire, then remove first side of tire.
- Reach inside of tire and remove transmitter.
- Remove second side of tire.

- Drain engine coolant from radiator using a suitable container.
- Remove inlet air duct.
- Remove reservoir tank as follows:
- Disconnect reservoir tank hose.
