If installing a replacement tire pressure sensor, note the identification number for use during relearn procedure. Refer to the "Relearn Procedure."

Removal
  • Loosen the wheel lug nuts.
  • Raise and support vehicle with jack stands.
  • Remove the wheel and tire assembly.
  • Remove the tire valve stem cap, then the valve stem and allow the tire to deflate.
  • Remove the nut retaining the tire pressure warning valve and transmitter to the wheel assembly, then drop the transmitter inside the tire.
