- Depress brake pedal past its first inch of travel and hold it in position using brake pedal holding tool.
- Raise and support vehicle, then remove tire and wheel assembly.
- Remove banjo bolt connecting flexible brake hose to caliper.
- While holding guide pins from turning, remove caliper guide pin bolts.
- Remove brake caliper from brake adapter and pads.
- Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
- Completely retract caliper piston back into bore of caliper using hand pressure or suitable C-clamp by first placing suitable wood block over piston.
