- Disconnect battery ground cable.
- Rotate accessory drive belt tensioner counterclockwise until it contacts it's stop. Remove accessory drive belt, then slowly rotate tensioner into freearm position.
- Remove upper alternator mounting bolt.
- Raise and support vehicle.
- Remove lower splash shield.
- Remove bolt from transmission cooler line clamp at right crossmember and reposition transmission cooler line.
