- Disconnect battery ground cable.
- Remove accessory drive belt using a 3/8 in. square drive bar to rotate accessory drive belt tensioner counterclockwise.
- Remove air deflector.
- Remove alternator cooling duct.
- Remove radiator splash shield.
- Remove righthand engine mounting lower retaining bolt.
- Raise engine to a suitable height using engine support beam tool No. 303-021 and engine lifting brackets tool No. 303-749 or equivalents.
- Raise and support vehicle.
- Remove engine mounting and bracket assembly.
